Getting me out in the evening is not easy and I’ve stopped resisting. It might be for a book club, women’s circle. I won’t go if it is a busy bar. I don’t numb out now to tolerate it
Yes, this journey truly is one of rediscovering ourselves and who we are and what we need, and being OK with that. Re: neurodivergence - I have been resistant to it because I don’t like the fact that ‘disorder’ is tagged on the end of the names of neuro-difference, but someone recently told me that you don’t have to say you have autism or ADHD - you can just say ‘neurodivergent’ which sounds much better to me!
