All of you is welcome here
Wherever you are on your journey with alcohol, whatever you’re feeling, I want you to know that it’s all OK. If you’re drinking to cope with stress and overwhelm, that makes total sense. If you’re drinking to cope with painful feelings like sadness and grief, that makes sense. If you’re drinking out of habit and just can’t seem to cut down, that makes sense too.
Alcohol is an addictive, toxic drug that our culture promotes as the elixir of life. It’s no surprise you’ve got stuck. It’s not your fault.
You don’t need to hide in the dark anymore. You’re not broken, you’re not trapped, and you’re not alone. You can break free from alcohol for good and step into the life you were always meant to live.
Meeting pain with love
What if, instead of drinking every time you felt a difficult feeling, you did something loving for yourself?
When you listen to yourself and uncover what you actually need in that moment, and choose to meet that need, you are choosing fierce self-compassion. You’re making a promise to yourself and saying, whole-heartedly: ‘I matter.’
Because you do matter. Without caveats, without question. And if you’re looking honestly at your relationship with alcohol, then you have extraordinary courage.
Trust me, I get it. I know what it takes to walk this path. The bravery. The strength. The falling down and the getting back up. You’re amazing. Keep going.

Testimonials
“My experience working with Ellie has been transformational.
I used to be a binge drinker with no 'off switch' who often lost control and hated myself the following day. I believed it was linked to loneliness, boredom and isolation as it began in the pandemic. I wanted to be able to control my drinking.
I was drawn to Ellie by her spiritual and compassionate approach. Traditional therapy hadn't worked for me because the therapist had never 'been there'. Having a coach with lived experience, who had come out of the other side was the key for me in uncovering exactly what was going on and starting the path to change. It’s the first time I haven't felt judged in all the time I have tried to tackle this issue - and that has made all the difference.
With every slip-up I was able to have an open and authentic discussion with Ellie about what had happened and why. Historically I would have walked on eggshells for a few days, brushed everything under the carpet and moved on: now I had a safe space to dissect what had happened and finally understood what my real triggers were and the root cause - the pain that I was trying to numb.
There is still work to be done as I try and work through and learn to manage the cause of the pain, but Ellie has helped me to get to this root cause, rather than trying to just manage the symptoms (the drinking). This awareness has had a huge impact - I'm learning to sit with the feelings I was trying to numb and this has stopped me wanting to drink. This is a subtle but transformational difference to traditional alcohol support which just aims to manage the symptoms.
I think Ellie’s support would benefit anyone who is open to a spiritual approach and can accept that their alcohol issue isn't their fault but is a reaction to pain in their soul and that understanding where that pain is can help set you free.”

“Before I started coaching with Ellie I was craving alcohol and drinking too much, and my health was suffering. I wanted to stop for good after stopping and starting many times.
I was drawn to work with Ellie because of her gentle and kind impression and her words, "it's only a part of you that still wants to drink." After our sessions I felt understood and deeply cared for.
Now I've stopped drinking. And when a craving comes up I think, this is only a part of me that wants a drink and that lessens the way it used to be so overwhelming.
I think Ellie can benefit many MANY people the way she has unquestionably benefited me.”
— Laurie
“Before working with Ellie I was struggling with regular relapses, about once a month and looking for guidance and support on some new theories and tactics to minimise these. I was drawn to Ellie because of her relatable experiences, knowledge and personable approach.
Ellie introduced me to some new theories and books to read that gave me a fresh perspective and an alternative way to view my sobriety and past addiction. I was used to language and theories used by AA, so finding something new was very refreshing! I loved that Ellie didn’t view relapse as a failure but instead a learning experience and ‘data’ I could use to learn from.
After our sessions I always felt lifted, motivated and inspired. She was very encouraging and made me feel hopeful.”
